Welcome to Centec

Centec is a Community Based Economic Development agency (CBED). As the first CBED of its kind it has over 20 years experience working with, and for, the communities of North East Liverpool.

It operates from an accessible location on Stopgate Lane, Aintree. It is 4 miles from Liverpool City Centre and 3 miles from the national motorway network.

Centec offers a broad range of services to the local community and is involved in city-wide initiatives.

Working in Partnership

Teem 580 is a consortium made up of three organisations offering training in the Merseyside area. The purpose of the partnership is to address the needs of the Training, Education, Employment and Management across Merseyside but with a specific emphasis on Aintree, Norris Green, Fazakerley, Croxteth, Gillmoss and Orrell Park. Teem 580 is a consortium of local deliverers and is made up of:

Centec Limited (Lead organisation) - is responsible for managing contracts and projects within the consortium and it provides qualitative and quantitative information and reports to contractors. It also manages the finance, staff and accommodation for all projects. It has many years of delivering such services to a number of public agencies including Liverpool City Council, Business Link, The Prince's Trust, Liverpool Council for Voluntary Services, Liverpool Vision.

Annette Barnes Consultancy Limited - has over 25 years experience in delivering management and personal development training. It is responsible for the design, delivery and development of courses and the accreditation of all programmes. It works with employers as well as learners.

Northern Home Care Limited - has over 15 years in domiciliary care training and support. It takes responsibility for the design, delivery and development of programmes. It also promote and recruits individuals onto training programmes.
